The certoplast Vorwerk & Sohn GmbH company, a producer of technical adhesive tapes, can fall back on almost 100 years' know-how of tape production. Established in 1991 from the former adhesive tape division of Vorwerk & Sohn, strict "re-engineering" led to successful positioning in the main branches automobile, electrical industries and insulating engineering.
Motivated staff understands customers` requirements as being the highest priority of their activities thus custom-made solutions to problems have become a speciality of our company. Quick realisation of technical requirements, direct co-operation with the users and highest possible flexibility are the pillars on which the corporate philosophy rests.
The highest attention is paid to the heart of the product, the adhesive: our own formulation of adhesives enables us to offer an answer to almost every question of the market. In the time of sustainability we use exclusively solvent-free adhesives. On the one hand hot-melt systems, these are applied after melting, and depending on the application UV-curable hot melts can also be used. On the other hand we use adhesives based on acrylic dispersions for the coating of our tapes.
Altogether all our adhesives are solvent free, our approach for sustainability.
Highly specialised sub-suppliers add their know-how to our adhesive tapes by supporting materials made of foil, textile and paper, short distances and close contacts enable quick reactions for the satisfaction of our customer.

the development and production of our products from the receiving of raw
material to adhesive production, coating, cutting and customising right
